Blumer & Associates, CPAs, PC - Certified Public Accountants

Our main purpose is to glorify God in all of our decisions.  We seek to serve God first, and we think that will benefit our clients directly.  At least, we hope so.

We were founded in 1997 by H. Marcus Blumer “Marc”, Jason’s Father.  Now retired, Marc has moved on to other retiring endeavors and has left Jason to manage the firm into the future.

Jason M. Blumer saw the writing on the wall a few years ago, and jumped into serving our clients all over the world through heavy uses of social media, cloud-based online technologies and a virtual firm mindset.  All staff can work remotely and we are a paperless firm.  We are a staff of five, with one more added during tax season to help ease the madness.

We love what we do and are very good at it, so we tend to enjoy our work.  We are an anal bunch, and fight to live outside of the details of our work, if possible.  We have big hearts and find joy in serving each client God has given us to mentor and help.  We love to serve!

Bio: Wears flip flops and jeans, says “dude” a lot and often works in coffee shops with headphones listening to the latest Bloomberg podcasts (although he doesn’t understand most of it). Loves new game-changing technology and plays rock and roll too loud.  Loves Jesus… a lot.

Cathy Lovell, CPA

Bio: LOVES taxes and accounting, just like a good CPA should. Been in public accounting all her life, married a preacher. Tried sushi, but it’s not her thing.
Duties: Manages tax returns, tax processes, tax estimation and client accounting for the firm

Lisa G. Hope

Title: Payroll Administrator
Bio: Been doing billing and business for quite a while.  Makes sure everyone gets paid on time and can whip up some mean guacamole.
Duties: Payroll processing for all clients, and tax processing

Stephanie Kuchle, CPA

Title: Senior Accountant, Special Projects
Bio: Former Audit Manager for large regional CPA firm, now raising two beautiful little kids. Makes chocolate chip cookies that can stop your heart.
Duties: Makes sure new paperless software solutions are being used effectively by clients, plus tax and accounting preparation

Jennifer Blumer

Title: Administrative Support
Bio: Keeps the firm practice management software current, and is known as the “coupon queen” (she even teaches classes on how to coupon). Married to the boss, used to be a teacher, now teaches kids at home, supports the firm staff part time.  About to run her first 5k. 
Duties: Scans and routes the paperless tax process for the staff, tax processing and general admin support
